"It might seem ultra-simple, but it's very effective when used with some logging UI.\r\nIt consists in a singleton\/autoload script that emit a signal to broadcast a message. That's it.\r\n\r\nSave it as, let say, `MessageBus.gd`, add it as autoload, and now, from anywhere in your scripts, just call:\r\n`MessageBus.send_message(\"This stuff made %dms to load\" % (some_variable))`\r\n\r\n\r\nAt the other end of the signal, one can plug the bus as follow : \r\n```\r\nfunc _ready() -> void:\r\n MessageBus.on_message.connect(_on_message)\r\n\r\nfunc _on_message(log : String) -> void:\r\n # do your thing, either log to file, or to a UI\r\n```"
