"There hasn't been any official GodotCon in the US yet - actually nowhere but Europe - but that's about to change, as the Godot Foundation announced [they're bringing GodotCon to the US for the first time](https:\/\/godotengine.org\/article\/godotcon-2025\/)!\r\n\r\n## What is GodotCon?\r\nFrom the [GodotCon website](https:\/\/conference.godotengine.org):\r\n> The GodotCon is an event which aims to give the Godot community a place to meet in person and exchange knowledge. Whether it\u2019s through inspiring talks, networking, or showcasing games and projects, the event is all about building connections and exchanging knowledge. Organized by the Godot Foundation, alongside local community members and an incredible team of volunteers, GodotCon is a true reflection of the passion and collaboration that make this community so unique. \r\n\r\nIn other words - a great way to get in touch with the Godot game dev community and learn from other developers!\r\n\r\nThere is also a call for speakers and sponsors, so if you want to apply to become a speaker at the conference or want to sponsor it, make sure you check out the website!\r\n\r\n## Save the date\r\nThe first US GodotCon will be hosted at **Microsoft NERD on May 5th - 7th, 2025**, so save the date!\r\n\r\n\r\nThere will also be a European conference in 2025 as well, so if you're not in the US or can't make it there, don't worry - there are more chances coming!\r\n\r\nWill you be joining the conference in the US or Europe - or should they expand to even more locations?"
